In-home Private Sessions (one on
one)
Available in primarily the Barrington, IL area,
this is by far the most popular option.
In-home private sessions are not only convenient, they're smart. For
starters, these programs are truly customized masterpieces; every client's
program is so different, you'd almost think it's been formulated by a
different trainer. Secondly, not only do you receive top-notch
instruction and helpful guidance on each exercise and/or yoga posture, but
your form is monitored extremely closely to ensure you're performing every
movement correctly. Best of all, your entire exercise concerns are
taken care of for you, which means you have more time to attend to your busy
schedule. You need not even think about your exercise the rest of the
week; all you need to do is answer the door for your appointments and work
with the trainer for that one hour!
In-gym Private Sessions
This option is great for those who prefer to
workout in a fitness center setting, or for those who are interested in just
a few sessions to help get them started on a personalized fitness program.
These sessions are held at the Barrington Park
District's fitness center, which offers a comfortable yet complete exercise
environment. Another advantage to in-gym private sessions is the
availability of many types of equipment. From stability balls to free
weights, from strength machines to treadmills, the fitness center can cater
to your needs without your having to acquire the equipment yourself. The disadvantage is that
you're sharing the space with other gym-goers; while the gym is typically
rather empty at certain times of the day, it tends to be more crowded before
9:00am and after 5:00pm.
Semi-Private Sessions (two
participants)
A more affordable option, this program works
especially well for participants who have similar levels of fitness and/or
goals. You split the cost of an hourly session, yet still receive a
customized program design and guidance. Plus, there's the the added
bonus of social reinforcement through the "fitness buddy" system.
Small Group Sessions (minimum
participants: 4)
This is a new and rapidly growing Tree of
Fitness program. The content of these sessions is not as personalized;
they are more like a group fitness or yoga class. But....two features
that are definitely customized are the time frame and the convenience
factor. You get to pick the day, you get to pick the time. Best
of all: we come to you! During the warmer months, this is a popular choice among those who
enjoy outdoor workouts and have the backyard space to support it. Imagine
getting up for work, enjoying a cup of coffee, and then stepping
outside to do your "sunrise" fitness or yoga session along with several friends, family
members, or neighbors. It's a refreshing, easy, budget-friendly way to
get fit and reduce your stress!
